Our Core Focus
Three pillars that drive our mission to empower youth entrepreneurs
Our Story
The Genesis of Izwe Youth Foundation
The Izwe Youth Foundation was born from the vision of Sandile Dladla, who believed deeply in creating pathways for others to succeed. Driven by a desire to see young people win, he sought to build a sustainable solution to South Africa's unemployment crisis.
Sandile Dladla brought this powerful vision to his business partners Vela Mchunu and Vuyani Mkhize at Naadi Contractors. After discussing and refining the vision together, they presented it to fellow entrepreneurs and companies who shared their passion for change. The idea resonated with organizations like Newton Inc. and 411 SHEQ Consulting, who recognized the urgent need for practical solutions.
The collective realization was clear: to truly tackle unemployment at scale, we needed to move beyond traditional job creation. The most powerful approach would be to empower young people to become entrepreneurs – believing that for every sustainable business we help launch, we create not just one job, but the foundation for ten more.
